Dear Clients,

After over 50 years in practice, I have decided to retire on June 30, 2024.  LARCHMONT ANIMAL CLINIC has been my life’s work.  It has been my privilege to care for your pets over the years and to be a part of the Larchmont Village community.  I have truly enjoyed being your pet’s veterinarian and getting the chance to know you.  This has not been an easy decision to say the least.

As some of you may know, for over a year I have been trying to sell the practice as a whole, or bring in a new partner who would take over the practice.  Despite all of my efforts, I have not been able to do so.  Veterinary practices for the most part have gone “corporate” similar to medical practices.  If you sell, you have to join a large company and continue to work with them for additional years.  After 50 years in veterinary practice, I am not able to take on the responsibility of years of additional work.  Therefore, I have decided to close my practice. 

We will assist you in the transition, referrals and records for your new veterinarian.

Please email info@larchmontvet.com to request records for your pet and we will send them out to you as soon as possible. Please include your first name, last name, pet’s name and phone number associated to your account.
